Dear Jeff and Belinda and families, I am so sorry for your loss, and wish I could be there to give you both a hug. Your Mom and Dad are together now, God Bless them, I know my Mom is there with them, too. Your Mom and Dad left great warm memories of family time from childhood. Your house in Rockland and your Mom's cooking (she could cook anything, but her raspberry cake, yum! :) ). And your Dad, how he loved his wrestling. And the times I sat with them when I was older, the laughter and conversation will always be fondly remembered. They were so proud of you and your families. They were great and I am proud we are family. Lots of love. Cindy.

Our Dad was a man, a man who worked hard,gave his all to whatever he did,and loved unconditionally. He knew that family was the most important part of his life and for almmost 90 years he took care of all of us from his children,grandchildren,friends and daughter in laws...he thought all of us were special in his own little way...although I didnt know my dad as well as I would have liked to growing up as a child(because he worked 14 hours a day) the past 7 years allowed me to know him the way I always wanted too. He was a mans man...a giver...full of life,love and compassion and even though you have now gone to be with the Lord Ill remember all you stood for. You stand tall even today in my heart and the memories will be cherished forever. Thanks for being our father...husband...and grandfather. You are greatly missed but still here in our hearts and minds...rest in peace pops...We love you!!

I remember when we would always have cookouts as a family when my grandparents still lived in Glen Cove. We would make homemade ice cream together, but everyone knows that grandpa didn't like ice cream ;) We could never keep enough of it in the house. If we let him, he would have eaten it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No matter what time of the day it was, and if you went down to see him you would catch him sitting at the table eating ice cream. I remember just going down to his house, and just sitting there while he was sleeping. He didn't like to hold much of a conversation, but I just liked sitting there. He was the best grandfather anyone could ever ask for, him and my grandmother would give the shirt off their back and do anything for anyone, no matter who you were. I knew I could always count on them being there whenever I needed someone to talk to. I used to go down to my grandparents house, and help grandma baked, and grandpa would be the first one to taste what we were making, he was very good at that. There are many more good memories that I could write, but I will keep them in my heart. I will miss him very much, but I know through every step I take now and in the future he will be with god watching down on me. I love you Grandpa!

What a long, productive, dedicated, successful, and loving life Mr. Pooler lead! Jeff, my heart goes out to you. Austin, I met you in 2011, the day you volunteered to help all day at my home repair project. I'm so sorry about the loss of your grandpa. Hugs to you and dad and thinking of the rest of your family at this painful time.
