I was a high schooler in '88 when I met MaryFran while working together in Regulatory at Ortho. She became a second mom to me, at a time when I needed it! She was an example of a strong woman who was smart, hard working, kind, active part of her community, and a good friend to people. She was a great example to follow! We'd enjoy lunch in NJ, and stayed in touch when Maine became her permanent home again. I'm heartbroken to find out she's gone, and to hear it 11 months after her passing......guess I should have taken that trip to Camden when she asked!

Dear Nancy I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such a kind, smart, good woman who will be missed. I have so many fond memories of her while we were growing up. One that comes to mind today is of her wonderful willingness to put up with our day-long giggling during those fun summer outings to the swim club. I am so saddened to learn of Mary Fran's passing. I had the great privilege and pleasure of working closely with her at Ortho back in the 1980's. She was so knowledgeable and professional, and had a terrific sense of humor, as well. She helped me many times in mastering the various nuances of clinical research management. I send my sincerest condolences to her family.
